RPT or RPT-S Credential

To become an RPT and/or RPT-S (Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor), criteria must be satisfied in several areas, including:

  • Mental health licensure or certification

  • Educational degrees

  • Play therapy training

  • Supervised play therapy experience

  • Clinical experience

  • Supervisor training
